Busy Night @ The Sandbar

After much deliberation, the three of us have decided to order off the menu with todays fresh catches!

A basket of slightly warm sliced baguette with a side of butter has arrived within less than a minute. The crust has an interesting chewy crunch and the interior has a soft denseness to it. I’m pretty sure I like it but a slight debatably burnt taste is making me waver.

7:54 the bread has been eaten. Now the wait begins.

7:58 pm.  The 4 minute wait was over.

Snapper, soft and buttery with a tomato (pasta-like sauce)

The swordfish, dense and lacking in flavor. Although the sauce was quite good on it’s own, I guess it’s just the nature of the fish ><

The mahi mahi was the best of the three – but the spice in the sauce was overbearing after a few bites. Tasty yet not tastebud friendly.

All three plates came with broken rice, asparagus, and lightly breaded baby tomatoes (the completely round one)

The rice went great with the sauce from the mahi mahi. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the tomatoes a great palate cleanser.

likelihood of revisiting:10% (not impressive enough for the price tag)

culinary mindset: casual ambiance but a notch up from the regular
